Went to Herby's for lunch the other day. Wow -- Herb Morici has a HUGE sports memorabilia collection -- autographed baseballs, bats, jerseys, footballs, basketballs, baseball cards -- you name it. I counted 30 plasma TVs on all the walls -- definitely put Herby's on your list for places to watch a big game. The menu is an extensive collection of classic sports bar fare -- big burgers, ribs, chicken wings, various salads, and lots of appetizers. Feels like back in 'civilization.' For around $10 you can get a big burger, steak fries, coleslaw and a beer -- not bad for Roatan. Herby's drink menu was lengthy except for the beer list -- not much to choose from -- I hope they will extend their beer offerings in the future. I will return next time I am hungry in French Harbour. Herby's even has a small stage for live music. Thanks, Herb! (or is it Herbys?) -- Eric S., West Bay, Roatan

Recently spent 10 days in Roatan compliments of PineApple Villas. The villas were some of the best accomodations I have stayed in years! It really was great! But, fact is - my wife and family did not have to travel far for great food and dining. Herby's Sports Bar - The PineApple Grill proved to be some of the best food I had ever had! And It was in Honduras! Herb must be doing something right! The service was great, the food was excellent and very much affordable. I did NOT expect the costs to be in line. It is really set-up for anyone that loves to watch sports in a great & fun atmosphere. Fun time for all, friendly people, drinks and food were the best and priced right. Sports memorabilia everywhere . . . TV Screens everywhere...you got to check it out when on the island - Roatan! -- Rob, Dallas

Really good food, service not so great. Very inconsistent with the waitresses though Kathy was awesome. They seemed to be bothered if you asked for anything even when we were the only ones in the bar. Tons of memorabilia which was cool. Bar manager was great unfriendly waitresses though. -- mark, reno nv
Cool atmosphere, but probably the worst service I've ever experienced. Waitresses standing around doing nothing, texting & talking on the phone, etc. BAD -- Madit, Fort Collins, CO
