I have stayed at the Splash Inn for many years as, for me, it is the only place to stay in West End. I love looking out over the sea as I take my breakfast in the morning. Lovely fresh fruit salad whilst I catch up on my mail with their free wifi. Usually in the evening I dine out at one of the many restaurants, but on my way out last night I saw the chef at the barbecue cooking some massive steaks. He said that they were beef tenderloin and that they were as tender as you can get. I decided to try one for dinner and what a steak it was. Fantastic and it was as much as I could eat - and the cost was lower than any of the other restaurants I have eaten in here. Now I know why so many of the locals dine at the Splash Inn Restaurant. As always I will be back and next time I will try something else from their extensive menu that ranges from pizzas to lobster, Lovely place, lovely people. No wonder why I love Roatan, the secret jewel of the Caribbean.
