This dive site was named and founded by Chaz Kafer, a professional photographer and the first photo pro at Anthony's Key in 1981. Though this location is not as picturesque as in the earlier days it is full of large sponges, small macro subjects.
From what I been told Chaz Kafer and Rick Frehsee also a famous photo journalist spent many hours doing fish and macro at this site.
Kafer is now a dive shop owner in Maryland and a photo journalist writing for many diving magazines. -- Chris, Maryland
