Sandy patches and lettuce corals line the shallows as the wall begins its sheer descent at 45’. Many cornices and projections line the upper crown of the facade then drop near vertical to unfathomable depths well beyond recreational limits.

It is obvious this once was a stunning dive site. There is bleaching and algae over the reef. The fish are scarce. In January the water temp was decent (rashguard or shorty wetsuit work). The dive shop we were with brought snorkelers as well. Visibility was decent with a lot of backscatter, even with a filter my videos are not great. Dove for a week off of Dunbar Rock and it was increible, unfortunately, the bleaching and algae have impacted this site. -- Amy, USA
